Reasons to Love these Strawberry Yogurt Clusters

So easy to make – The most basic version requires just two ingredients, and there’s no cooking involved—simply freeze and enjoy! Nutrient-Packed Goodness – made with probiotic-packed yogurt, vitamin-rich strawberries, and the healthy fats and protein from yogurt and optional peanut butter, these are a great healthy snack to have on hand. Kid-Friendly and Grown-Up Approved: also doubles as a fun bonding activity with your child. Versatile Personalization: Customize your yogurt clusters with different fruits, and mix-ins like nuts and coconut flakes. Will help stretch your strawberries – I don’t know how it is in your family, but my kids would eat all the strawberries in one sitting if I let them. So adding them to recipes is a great way to make them last longer.

Ingredients

I am highlighting just the ones that need further explanation. The complete list is in the recipe card below.

Greek yogurt – I recommend using full fat for best results. Regular yogurt will result in thinner texture and more icy cluster. You can use plain yogurt or flavored yogurt like this vanilla yogurt, strawberry yogurt, or peanut butter yogurt. Strawberries – fresh strawberries are best for this recipe. But if you want to use frozen strawberries, be sure to thaw slightly but not fully otherwise they will be too wet. Optional Stir-ins – you can keep this simple by just mixing yogurt and strawberries or stir in peanut butter (or other nut butter of choice, like cashew butter) or a sweetener like honey, maple syrup, or date syrup for extra flavor. Chocolate (optional) – I like to use chocolate chips but feel free to use whatever you have on hand. Milk chocolate, semi-sweet, or dark chocolate, they will all work! To melt, you can microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until melted and smooth. Alternatively, you can use the double boiler method. Oil – helps create a thin and smooth chocolate coating

Step-by-Step Instructions

Tips for Success

Be sure to line your baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup. This is a must!! For babies and toddlers, make the clusters small and leave out the chocolate coating. They will still be delicious without. Thaw until the yogurt starts to melt to make it easier to eat. Work quickly when dipping the yogurt clusters as the chocolate will harden quickly from the cold clusters.

Variations

Try with different fruit – blueberries, grapes, pineapple, peaches, mangoes, kiwi, banana. Here’s how to make blueberry yogurt clusters. Mix-in chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or granola (try this no added sugar granola) for some crunch and extra deliciousness.

Storage

Once frozen, transfer the frozen strawberry clusters to a freezer-safe bag or container and keep in the freezer for up to 1 month.
