The bitter orange flavor of blue curaçao mimics the flavors of the orange juice that’s typically used in a classic mimosa recipe. And yes, blue curaçoa is actually a bright blue color! As far as fancy cocktails go, this Tiffany mimosa recipe comes together in just 5 minutes and you don’t need any bar tools, just a few champagne flutes and these ingredients:
Sanding sugar or granulated sugar: Use this to rim the champagne glasses for a sparkly little touch – think diamonds! Hot water: Use hot water to dissolve the honey into, creating a honey simple syrup. Honey: Just a tablespoon of honey will do to add a little sweetness to these mimosas. Lemon juice: Use fresh lemon juice to create a citrus-forward taste in this cocktail. Blue curaçao: A splash of blue curaçao will give that beautiful blue hue and add a bitter orange flavor to the drink. Sparkling wine: Use your favorite sparkling wine to add the classic fizz to this mimosa recipe. Champagne or prosecco will work.
