Strawberries – you can use fresh or frozen strawberries. If using the latter, thaw slightly so it’s easier to process. Here’s how to freeze fresh strawberries when they’re in season to enjoy all throughout the year! Greek yogurt – I like to use whole milk Greek yogurt because it’s what we always have on hand and adds creamy texture. But you can use low fat yogurt or dairy-free alternative, like coconut milk yogurt or almond milk yogurt Honey or maple syrup – adjust to your taste preference. This may change from batch to batch due to the sweetness of the berries.
Banana Strawberry – Add a ripe banana for extra creaminess. Mango Strawberry Swirl – Layer with mango puree for a tropical twist. Berry Mix – Combine strawberries with blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. Chocolate-Dipped – Dip frozen popsicles in melted dark chocolate and freeze again. Strawberry Lemonade – Add more lemon juice and a bit of lemon zest to create a tangy strawberry lemonade flavor. Strawberry Lime – Replace lemon juice with lime juice and add a bit of lime zest for a zesty, tangy flavor. Strawberry Kiwi – Add slices of fresh kiwi to the popsicle molds before pouring in the mixture for a colorful and tangy addition. Strawberry Watermelon – Mix pureed watermelon with the strawberry mixture for an extra hydrating and summery treat.
It comes with other cute animal shapes like bears, rabbits, and more, making each popsicle a delightful treat. Using this mold, the recipe will yield 20 popsicles. To save room in your freezer, remove from the molds once frozen solid and transfer to a freezer-safe bag.
