Making smoothies for breakfast is always fun. To switch things up, try our green breakfast smoothie or our berry almond butter smoothie. The natural sweetness of the mango makes this smoothie border on dessert; It’s a real treat. Sometimes we make this with frozen mangoes and a frozen banana. The result is a super thick smoothie that you can eat with a spoon. It’s delicious! Phew … that was a lot of work! Juuust joking. You can adjust the amount of water you add based on your preference for a thinner or thicker smoothie. We start by adding a ½ cup of water and sometimes add a little more to make it easier to drink. We find that it works best to use a fresh banana (which we always have on hand) and frozen mango (which we rarely have on hand). But don’t let that stop you from making this recipe; use what you have in your kitchen.
