How to make mango lemonade

This recipe can be made in three easy steps: It takes just four simple ingredients to make this recipe (full recipe below), and two of them you probably already have on hand.

Mangoes: Any type of mango will work in this recipe, including frozen and thawed. Fresh, ripe mangoes, however, will provide a wonderful, goes-down-smooth, texture. They add a sweet, bright pop to complement the lemon juice. We blend the mango chunks into mango pulp (mango puree) for the ultimate sweet flavor.

Honey: The honey will be used to make sweet honey simple syrup. It adds sweetness and a depth of flavor, however, you can use sugar in a pinch. Just make sure to use berry sugar or simmer the water and sugar so the sugar dissolves before using it.

Lemon juice: freshly squeezed lemon juice is a top choice for this recipe. It’ll add that familiar, bright, citrusy flavor of lemonade.

Water: The concentrated taste of blended mangoes, honey syrup, and lemon juice need water to turn this into a delightful drink. Six cups of water will do to fill a large pitcher with mango lemonade!

Enjoy the mango lemonade as is, or you can try some of these add-ins for a twist!

Berries: raspberries or strawberries are delightful in this drink! Add either berry into the blender with the mangoes, or add some into the mango lemonade as a garnish. Fizz: You can easily make this a fizzy mango lemonade by substituting sparkling water for still water. Pineapple: for a super tropical twist, blend in some pineapple to complement the mangoes and lemon juice. Alcohol: Easily turn this mango lemonade into a punch or cocktail by adding vodka or rum. Lime: If you fancy a citrusy punch, you can add fresh lime juice or slices of lime to garnish the glass. It will turn it into a mango limeade! Mint: Another variation you can try is to add fresh mint leaves to your glass or the pitcher. It will infuse your lemonade with a lovely mint flavor. Ice cubes: Really need to cool off? You can add ice cubes as desired, just know that as the ice cubes melt in the pitcher it will slightly dilute the mango lemonade.
