Tip: If you want to prep ahead, gather your ingredients, divide into individual freezer bags, label and freeze!

Flavored Yogurt

With the combination of convenience, delightful flavors, and nutritional benefits, flavored yogurts make an excellent choice for a satisfying morning meal. And rather than relying on store-bought varieties loaded with added sugars, create your own homemade flavored yogurts to take control of the ingredients and tailor them to your preferences. You can easily personalize your yogurt creations by topping with fresh fruit, cereal, no added sugar granola, nuts, etc. I love to fill up a snack tray with an assortment of toppings for my kids to choose from. Sometimes they make the most beautiful yogurt bowls and other times they eat just the yogurt or the toppings, but either way it helps them exert their independence and makes mealtimes more fun and engaging.

Overnight Oats

As a busy mom of 2 littles who wake up hangry, I don’t know what I’d do without overnight oats! Simply mix the ingredients, let it sit in the fridge overnight, and wake up to a ready-to-eat meal! The true beauty lies in their simplicity and versatility. You can personalize them to suit your taste preferences and dietary needs. Prepare a batch, store individual portions, and enjoy throughout the week with whatever toppings you are in the mood for!

Overnight Weetabix

This simple breakfast is similar to overnight oats, but instead of oats you will need Weetabix. Additionally, rather than stirring everything together, you are going to layer the ingredients, which is super easy to do!

Chia Puddings

Chia puddings are an excellent egg-free breakfast option for the whole family, offering a perfect blend of nutrition, versatility, and convenience. Packed with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and essential nutrients, chia seeds create a creamy and satisfying pudding-like texture when combined with liquid. Customizable with a variety of flavors and toppings, chia puddings are the perfect make ahead breakfast for kids and adults.

Eggless Pancakes

I, too, was skeptical at first, but it turns out you CAN make perfectly fluffy and tender pancakes without eggs! Plus this basic eggless pancake recipe is highly customizable! You can stir in all kinds of add-ins like fresh fruit, nuts, chocolate chips, and even vegetables for a savory twist.

Plus, it can be prepared in advance and reheated, making it an excellent option for busy mornings. Whether you enjoy it plain or top it with yogurt, fresh fruit, maple syrup, etc., baked oatmeal is a delightful and nutritious way to fuel your morning without the need for eggs.

Tofu Scramble

While tofu scramble may not taste like scrambled eggs, the crumbled and seasoned tofu creates a light and fluffy texture that is absolutely delicious. Tofu absorbs flavors exceptionally well so have fun experimenting with different herbs, spices, and vegetables. This is a high protein, filling, and nutritious breakfast option for the whole family.

Banana Roll Ups

Simply set up a station with the tortilla, banana, peanut butter (or any nut or seed butter), and various toppings (e.g. grated carrots, zucchini, hemp seeds, shredded coconut, crushed freeze-dried fruit, etc.). Next, invite your child to make their own tortilla roll up!

Toast
